"Baltimore Girls" by Coop for Hood Century. Had to put it on a tee.
Bill Gaskin shot this photo of (damn i forget their names) one of them commented on a photo on Hood. But anyway - I saw this photo and was just blown away by the nostalgia of the moment. I grew up in the 90s and was in high school in the 90s and I remember the updo like it was yesterday. All the girls at homecoming had it. None of the girls could go swimming with us. But this picture also reminded me of the Frank Gehry building, that Walt Disney Hall and Los Angeles. Had to put them together.

The most money the United States (our money) has ever spent is for this Infrastructure Bill. $2 Trillion. Just now.
Haven’t heard anyone that I know describe “infrastructure” as one thing or the same thing. It’s wild, it's all around but we don't know or notice it.….Was going to get preachy but it's simple, it's everywhere and it's on this tee.
A basic ass t- shirt with the word “infrastructure” screen printed in that college type design, but hand drawn. Hand drawn with those natural “imperfections” and shit.
Designed by my boy Isaac, he nice.
10% of profits will be donated to the good folks at Prince Georges Leadership Action Network to support their work addressing the affordable housing crisis (and more) in they hood.

N.O.R.E stands for Niggas On The Run Eatin’. Noreaga is one of my favorite rappers. He like the e 40 of Queens. The way he used words to express shit was just so unique and HIM. This image reminds me of that mentality. That, I'm about to go to breakfast, take some calls and go get it. The street really creates that “on the run, busy type vibe”. And Panns, Panns is such a cool fuckin place to have breakfast, or shit just be. The sunken room really makes this photo hard!

In the summertime in hoods that were ‘redlined’ in America, it’s almost 20 degrees hotter. A couple summers ago I witnessed a groups of kids doing a ‘roof’ jumping competition. They kept saying they would rather be inside but it was too hot. Created this image after experiencing that and seeing an image of the Farnsworth House floods.

Should of been laced yall with some images to send to yo folks but here we are. Introducing Hood Century's Archive Postcards Edition 1.
The hood century archive started when I realized what modernism was. Instantly I started looking for everything that defined the textures and shapes that embody this style.
When speaking of our culture and lives during the last 100 years in this country, it would be mega hard to not see modernism in and around our hoods. It’s almost ubiquitous in our daily lives.
This first pack of 6 includes The Robinson Residence in West Adams LA, where we had the first Hood Century Open House, one of our fav spots in MIA shown on google earth, Aretha with her art deco joint... and... you'll see the rest when you get em.
6x4” cards. Printed on 14pt stock with a slight gloss finish.
Shipping worldwide from the nati. Give it two weeks or so.
